Prayad continues winning ways in Japan

June 12: Evergreen Thai veteran Prayad Marksaeng continued his winning ways in Japan when he notched his second victory in a row by capturing The 18th Starts Senior Golf Tournament.

The 10-time Asian Tour winner birded his final hole for a one-shot win over the local trio of  Ryoken Kawagishi, Katsumi Kubo and Ikuo Shirahama at the Starts Kasama Golf Club in Ibaraki prefecture.

Prayad’s winning total of  11-under-par 205  also meant he remains on top of the Tour’s money list.

Over in Austria, Asian Tour member Jbe Kruger of South Africa finished tied-second, one shot behind compatriot Dylan Frittelli after closing with a 67 at the Lyoness Open powered by ORGANIC+.
