November 5: Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat overcame a five-shot deficit before posting a flawless five-under-par 66 to share the third round lead with Ireland’s Shane Lowry at the Turkish Airlines Open.
They will head into the final round of the European Tour event with a two-shot advantage over overnight leader Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium and Major Championship winners Padraig Harrington and Justin Rose.
“I’m really enjoying this moment. I’ve been knocking on the doors on a few occasions already and I’m sure it’ll open again for me. One day, I’ll get the job done again,”said Kiradech.
Korean-American Daivd Lipsky moved up to a share of 27th after compiling a three-day total of five-under-par 208 while Australia’s Andrew Dodt and Sam Brazel are in tied-37th and tied-42nd place respectively.
Scott Hend of Australia returned with a 72 to be placed in tied-56th place while Korea’s Jeunghun Wang signed for a 70 to share 60th place.
