November 19: Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat posted a battling five-under-par 67 to head into the final round of DP World Tour Championship, two shots behind English leader Justin Rose on Saturday.
The Thai hotshot was in sizzling form when he charged home with five successive birdies starting from the par-five 14 to compile a three-day total of 13-under-par 203 which placed him in a share of fourth place in Dubai.
“It’s the right way to finish to keep myself in position, just a few shots behind Rose. I started really slow today but I stayed patient and waited for my opportunities,” said Kiradech
Korean-American David Lipsky made his move with a 64 that lifted him to a share of 13th place that included Major winner Sergio Garcia and England’s Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Australia’s Scott Hend slipped to tied-22nd place after another 71 while Korea’s Jeunghun Wang is tied for 33rd after rounds of 71, 70 and 70.
