April 8: Korea’s Choi Kyung-ju battled back to even par through 12 holes when play was stopped for the first round of a weather-interrupted Masters at Augusta National on Thursday.
The Asian stalwart, who finished third at the Masters last year, started from the 10th tee and immediately dropped a shot. Another bogey on the 12th was erased with birdies on the par five 15th and second holes.
Kuala Lumpur, April 8: Chinese trailblazer Zhang Lian-wei has won famous head-to-head duels against Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie and Nick Price in the past. Japan’s Shigeki Maruyama could be next on his hit list.
