Hong Kong, November 19: Thailand's Chapchai Nirat will be in full concentration when he tees off at the UBS Hong Kong Open this week.
In a blog from the Hong Kong Golf Club, find out how the Thai player aims to nail a strong result this week, how he plans to get back to his mental game and his thoughts of the year.

I feel good heading into the UBS Hong Kong Open this week. I am happy with my form as I had previously injured my back two or three weeks before my trip to India. I chose to rest after that incident and I returned to compete in Johor and Singapore. I feel like I'm back to my usual form now.
I enjoy playing at the Hong Kong Golf Club. The course is set up well with hardly any rough this year but the greens can be tricky. I will have to keep the ball on the greens which will be my game plan for the week.
I enjoyed last week having played with top players like Phil Mickelson. I learned a lot from his short game and his course management skill is really good. I tried to listen in when he was talking to his caddie. His overall game around the greens is impressive as well.
There is a very strong field in Hong Kong and it will be equally challenging with the top players from Europe and Asia gathered here.
But I lost my concentration on the final day in Singapore and I still feel a bit out of touch mentally. I don't know why but I can't find the target that I set in my mind. I normally visualise a target like the pins on course but I find it hard to do it now.
That is why I hope to be fully focused this week hoping to give it my best shot for a strong result. I've been having a good season this year on the Asian Tour having chalked up three top-10 finishes. I don't have a set goal but I would like to finish off the year with a few more good results.
End.
