ADAM BLYTH (AUS) - FINAL ROUND 67 (-5) TOTAL 274 (-4)
It's a good result today. I learned a lot from last week and I played that to this week. To be under the pressure again and to finish off with a five under is a great result.
After last week's experience in Malaysia (where he led into the final round and finished 10th), you could take it both ways. You could take it as a negative thing, as a loss, or you can take it as a positive and learn from it. I learnt from it and applied it for this week which I didn't do right last week.
This will probably be my best result in a co-sanctioned event, last week was my best result. I guess we have to take baby steps before you win. I'm still learning and hopefully one day I will get there.
You can't force it. It'll come to me when it wants to come to me. I've been very patient. I'm putting really well and I drove it really well. I've kept it in play and making use of the opportunities. It has been gradual. I keep getting better. Yesterday, I wasn't happy with the game and went to the range to work things out.
HIROYUKI FUJITA (JPN) - FINAL ROUND 67 (-5) TOTAL 272 (-16)
I did my best and played a near perfect round today. I missed a few putts but still holed some which kind of evened out. All credit to Danny Lee as he is a very good player.
I guess it wasn't the best of starts when I bogeyed my first hole. I duffed my approach shot and had a fried egg in the bunker. But I didn't give up and fought hard and get some birdies in the end.
On 18, I missed an eagle putt from about 30 feet which wasn't a realistic chance.
I'm still happy with how I played as this was my first tournament of the season for me.
MARDAN MAMAT - FINAL ROUND 68 (-4) TOTAL 276 (-12)
I hit the ball so good from tee to green and I was patient on the putting greens. I waited the whole day for a putt to drop and it finally did at the last hole for eagle. It must have been over 30 feet.
Obviously, after missing the cut in the last two weeks, to play well this week has given me a boost to my confidence for the next tournament.
The work that I put in with Kel Llewellyn this week has been good. I need to put in more practice to get used to the slight changes that we are trying to make in my golf swing.
However, I've been struggling with my putting for the past few months. I don't want to let it get caught in my mind. I'm going to try to work on the putting with Kel at some stage. We'll work on one thing at a time.
