  WHAT THEY SAID

Angelo Que (Phi)

When I played in the pro-am on Tuesday and yesterday's practice round, I was telling myself that this is a tough course and no one can shoot a 64 or 65. Even if I hit a good shot, I need to know where to put the ball. The heat is also a factor. Luckily I pulled through.

I holed a 40 foot birdie putt on the 14th hole, a two footer on the 15th, a six footer on the 16th and a four feet putt for birdie on the 17th. It's nice.

Daniel Chopra (Swe)

I hit a lot of greens, but didn't really get close enough to give myself many birdie chances. It was pretty breezy out there at times, which obviously made life more difficult. The way it's blowing, almost every hole plays into the wind. There's probably only about two or three holes that are playing downwind, and that's it. So it was hard to get it close, and when I did I didn't sink the puts. But never mind, tomorrow's another day.

Antonio Lascuna (Phi)

I feel good about my game at the moment. The course is not playing too long which helps as I'm not really a big hitter. I think it was my practice round at Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club last week which helped me adjust well here. I shot 10 birdies there which was nice. The layout at Mt Malarayat is quite similar to what's playing this week with the dogleg holes and sometimes narrow fairways. If I can emulate that run here tomorrow, it would be great.

Rory Hie (Ina)

I missed a few shots on my back nine which was part of the reason I couldn't finish off with really low scores. But I am one under on each nine, which is quite good.

I am hitting the ball well. My ball flight is pretty tight and I'm not curving it too much. I am confident with the way I'm putting. So I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Ends.
