Jeev is one of Asia’s most decorated and global players, having won six times on the Asian Tour and multiple times in Japan and Europe. A two-time Asian Tour number one, he was conferred an honorary Asian Tour membership in 2009. Won the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open for his third win in Europe in 2012. Won four titles across the globe and lifted a second Asian Tour Order of Merit crown in 2008. Hit top form by winning the Bank Austria Golf Open and Sega Sammy Cup in Japan but his biggest triumph of the season came at the Barclays Singapore Open. Victory helped him become the first man in Asian golf history to win over US$1 million during a season, eventually earning US$1.45 million which stands as a Tour record. He captained Team Asia at the 2016 EurAsia Cup presented by DRB-HICOM.
Jeev is the son of an Olympic runner, Milkha Singh. Struggled with injury in the early 2000s and lost his form and confidence. Says yoga and reading self-improvement books have helped tremendously. Comes from Chandigarh which has produced top golfers such as Amritinder Singh and Amandeep Johl. Previously trained under Sam Frost but decided to do it alone in 2004, and then relying on Amrintinder's help. Earned India’s highest award, the Padmashri Award in 2007 from the Indian government for his achievements in 2006. Welcomed a baby boy in 2010.
