• Scott enjoyed full playing status for the 14th straight season in 2016 but missed out on his Tour card for 2017 when he finished in 62nd place on the Order of Merit. • Needed a late burst of form in 2015 to keep his card, first finishing tied eighth at the World Classic Championship in Singapore and then a runner-up outing at the Philippine Open presented by ICTSI which was the final event of the year. • Scott qualified for his second Major appearance at the US Open in 2011. • 2005 was Scott’s career season to date. The Aussie savoured a second place finish in the Okinawa Open and Thailand Open, where he lost in a play-off to Kiwi Richard Lee. Shot an albatross in the Maekyung Open in Korea. • In 2004 Scott achieved a career high when he qualified for the British Open. • Scott played on the Australasian Tour from 1995 to 1999 but quit playing after a water skiing accident saw him suffer a neck injury. • He became a teaching professional in Singapore Island Country Club but got his big break in 2003 when he played in the Macau Open. Led after the second and third rounds but was caught by Scotland's Colin Montgomerie in the final round and then edged out in the play-off.
