• Angelo is a three-time winner on the Asian Tour, with the most precious being the 2008 Philippine Open. • Enjoyed career high on the Order of Merit in 2014 when he finished in sixth place, thanks to a runner-up finish at the UBS Hong Kong Open where he lost to Scott Hend in a play-off. Hit a memorable approach shot into the final green to force a play-off. • Finished tied eighth at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia. • In 2015 and 2016, he has split his time between Asia and Japan, enjoying a tied seventh at the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters in 2015 and equal fourth at the Hero Indian Open in 2016. Only one missed cut in nine starts in 2016. • Posted six top-10s in 2013 and qualified for his third appearance at the World Cup of Golf in Australia. • In 2010, Angelo claimed third Asian Tour victory at the Selangor Masters when he defeated England's Chris Rodgers in a play-off. • Hit form in 2008 when he on the Philippine Open and earned a major appearance at the British Open through qualifying. Also qualified for his first World Cup with partner Mars Pucay. They finished tied 10th. • Angelo won his maiden Asian Tour title in 2004, lifting the Carlsberg Masters Vietnam after beating Thongchai Jaidee and former US Open champion Corey Pavin. Entered the tournament ranked a lowly 122nd and had submitted his Qualifying School forms but produced a two-stroke victory. • Won the Philippine Amateur title in 2000 and 2001. Also finished third in the Eisenhower Trophy Individual Category in Malaysia in 2002. • In 2003, he earned his Tour card by finishing tied second in Qualifying School.
• Angelo is one of the most jovial players on Tour. • Earned the nickname ‘Human Highlighter’ due to his bright and colour golfing attire. • Has been known to play in tournaments without playing a practice round.
