• Underwent brain surgery to remove a non-malignant tumour in mid-2012 and after nearly a year recuperating, he returned to action in the second half of 2013. • Featured in seven tournaments where he missed only one cut. • Capped a truly memorable victory and comeback when he won the Mercuries Taiwan Masters for a third time in 2016. • Won twice on home soil at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship and Mercuries Taiwan Masters in 2011. • With a tied third result at the Hero Indian Open, he finished a career high ninth on the Order of Merit in 2011. • Recorded his first win with an emotional victory at the 2005 Mercuries Taiwan. • Showed early glimpses of his potential in 2004 when he shot a blistering final round 61 in the Tianjin TEDA Open to finish third and then qualified for the World Cup with veteran Wang Ter-chang.
