Asian Tour Victories
(1) 2009 Omega European Masters, Switzerland.
(1) 2006 Rolex Trophy.
Secured his maiden Asian Tour-European Tour title by winning the 2009 Omega European Masters in Switzerland, holing a difficult bunker shot for an eagle three at the long 15th to win by two strokes. His win in the first qualifying event for The 2010 Ryder Cup team was watched by a crowd which included second man on the moon Buzz Aldrin. It also more than doubled his earnings for a season interrupted by wrist and then knee injuries, but which finished well with sixth place at the Dubai World Championship. After eight years competing for the Swedish national team as an amateur, decided to join the paid ranks in 2005 and quickly proved he had the game to cope with the demands of the professional arena, graduating third from the 2006 European Challenge Tour Rankings before completing a solid first season on The European Tour in 2007. In his latter seasons as an amateur, he combined four years of top ranked college golf at Oklahoma State University with economic studies, eventually graduating with a degree in Business Marketing. Grew up playing all sports before his attention focussed on golf at the age of eight, so much so that he was often late home for dinner as he spent so much time on the range determined to get things right.
