Sentosa, May 27: This week, we put India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar, Adilson Da Silva of Brazil and Korea’s Jeunghun Wang in the spotlight as they reveal some of their favourite sporting heroes, golf clubs and movies.
Who’s your favourite sportsman?
Bhullar: Milkha Singh, he’s Jeev Milkha’s father. He was a great athlete and runner in India and around the world. Definitely my idol.
Wang: J.S. Park the footballer. He’s really famous in Korea due to his work ethics and he’s also really a great guy.
Da Silva: Being Brazilian, it’s got to be Pele. He was good. But he is also a good person which made him stand out amongst the rest.
What’s your favourite movie?
Bhullar: In Pursuit of Happiness which Will Smith acted in. I’ve seen it seven or eight times already. It’s very inspiring.
Wang: Oceans 11. It was a very smart movie.
Da Silva: It’s got to be Brave Heart. It’s a great story. Any time you fight for freedom, it’s going to be good.
What’s your favourite club in the bag?
Bhullar: I’m not sure if I should say this, but it’s my putter. It gets angry with me sometimes but I’m quite happy with it over the past few weeks.
Wang: I love my nine iron. I just hit it very well and gets it close to the pins all the time.
Da Silva: It’s probably my sandwedge, the 56 degree one. I’m just very comfortable with it in my hands.
