Kiradech signs for 69 at weather-hit PGA Championship

July 31: Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat was among the 35 players who had the opportunity to complete their third round at the weather-hit PGA Championship.
The 2013 Asian Tour Order of Merit champion traded four birdies, a double-bogey and bogey for a one-under-par 69 at Baltusrol where 49 players have yet to finish and the top 10 players still to tee off.
Compatriot Thongchai Jaidee returned with a 73 before heavy rain and thunderstorms halted play for the day.
Japan’s YUTA Ikeda played only one hole which he bogeyed while Korea’s K.J. Choi and Younghan Song were at one-over through eight and 13 holes respectively.
Australia’s Marcus Fraser was at one-under through 13 holes while Scott Hend, a nine-time Asian Tour winner was at even-par after 10 holes.
Americans Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb share the lead at nine-under-par 131 through 36 holes.
