Hung Chien-yao (Tpe) – Second Round 66 (-6), Total 133 (-11)
This is a good course and I enjoy being here. I have fun with my caddy on the course. I had an early morning start but it is the same for everybody. Hopefully the weather can stay like this.
I was two-under in my last eight holes and had another two birdies chances which I missed. I tried to do my best already so I’m happy with my score. I started on the 11th teebox.
Now I’m going to clean my bad, my shoes and take a shower. After eating, I’ll take a nap. I’ll definitely take a nap because that’s the most important thing for me!
I don’t feel well. I think I’m going to get sick. I got a sore throat from yesterday so I need to go to the pharmacy and take some medication. Hopefully I can finish the round on a high today.

Johannes Veerman (Usa) – Second Round 66 (-6), Total 133 (-11)
I played some great golf. I’ve made so many eagles this week which is probably the most I’ve done in my life. I made two eagles yesterday and today on the 14th hole. I don’t know what’s happening but I like it.
I played a lot of tournaments on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and you have a lot of great competition there. All of that practice on the ADT has been polishing my game. We have a strong field this week but knowing that ADT boys Pavit (Tangkamolprasert) and Poom (Saksansin) have won on the Asian Tour has given me some confidence.
You read about success stories of golfers winning but when you play with these guys (Pavit Tangkamolprasert and Poom Saksansin) and see them winning, then you tell yourself ‘hey if they can do it, so can I’.
It is difficult when you are travelling around the world but my mum is Indonesian and she is coming up with my family and they will be out here. I’ll be excited and happy to play in front of them.
I lived in Asia for 14 years but we never lived in Indonesia. We had a house in Indonesia but we never really lived here. We just visited. I lived in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and China when I was younger because my dad worked for Shell and they had a lot of projects in Asia.
Lionel Weber (Fra) – Second Round 62 (-10), Total 135 (-9)
I’m very happy. It is a first 10-under on the Asian Tour. It didn’t feel like a 62 because we had such a long weather suspension. I went back to the course to play hole by hole and finished with five straight birdies. I putted badly yesterday but I’m striking the ball better.
During suspension, I went to the restaurant, had good food and was watching the golf on the television. I got back on the course feeling relaxed and enjoyed my round.
Making five birdies in the row gives you a good feeling and I almost holed my pitching shot for eagle on the 18th hole. It is just a great day and now I hope to play good over the weekend.
I’m working very hard on my game. I spend a lot of time in Thailand with my coach and worked very hard on my short game. My long game is getting better and I’m having a lot of fun playing golf.
I’ve got nothing to lose this week. I will play offensively. I haven’t won on the Asian Tour yet so it will be superb to do it. I think I’ve secured my Asian Tour card so I hope I can get a win now.

My best birdie was on hole number 10. I hit my tee to the left part of the fairway and behind a tree. I couldn’t play over it so I played a 35-yard hook around the tree which landed six feet from the hole which I holed.

I missed a short par putt (eight feet) after the suspension (hole 16) and that killed the momentum. I’m really happy to finish with my chip-in birdie on the last hole to give myself a chance during the weekend. We had a three-hour delay and I was imagining making that lag par putt but I burnt the edge on that one.
I didn’t play very well on the last hole and holed the chip from a difficult lie. When you hole shots like that, you kind of feel that things are going your way.
I’ve had a bad year so far. I’m trying to finish the season strongly. A win will be the best case scenario but I can still get my Tour card through the ADT. I’ll definitely try and get a great week out of this now.
I don’t know what will happen but with two low rounds this week, it has definitely given me a chance.
