Check out this week's contenders at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat (Tha)
Kiradech will be one of the favourites this week. He secured victory at the Shenzhen International three weeks ago and the swagger is back in his game after losing his way last season due to the loss of his long-time coach. He was also top-10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this year and finished fourth at the inaugural True Thailand Classic in February. His big-hitting game will be well suited to the Heritage Golf Club.
World Ranking: 77
Last 5 starts: T26, Win, MC, T6, T4.
George Coetzee (Rsa)
Coetzee enjoyed a strong outing at last week’s WGC-Cadillac Match Play, winning two of his three matches and only went out due to his head-to-head record with Jim Furyk. The South African star had shown impressive form in recent times, winning the Tshwane Open and finishing third at the Trophee Hassan II I Morocco. He is a solid ball-striker and a good putter. He is also the highest ranked player in the field this week.

Scott Hend (Aus)
Hend is one of the longest hitters on the Asian Tour, and has already identified two par fours at Heritage Golf Club which is drivable while the par fives will be very reachable for the Aussie. Has hit over 71% of greens in regulation this season in Asia and if his putter is hot, he will be amongst the contenders.
