Mardan Mamat (Sin) – Second Round 67 (-4), Total 133 (-9)
I’m feeling good. I’m happy with my two round efforts. I hope I can continue my form. I’m hitting the ball good so hopefully this will continue.
You need a lot of patience here. The weather is out of our control and it can be really frustrating with the rain suspensions. I got my momentum going on my first nine then I was delay after my 10th hole. I was a bit rusty after that. Luckily I maintained an even-par score on my back nine.
When you go in and out of the golf course, you might lose a bit of momentum. That happened to me today so hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

After my bad drive on 15 (hit it into the trees on the right), I told myself to get away with a bogey. I bogeyed 16 again after being in between clubs. After those two holes, I told myself to birdie at least one of the last two holes which I did.
I’ve been in this situation four times so I should be able to handle myself very well. Hopefully things come my way.
Carlo Pigem (Esp) – Second Round 67 (-4), Total 134 (-8)
I started very well with four birdies in eight holes. Then I made two mistakes but I erased those with two birdies in my last three holes. It was easier today because we had less wind. It is still tough because the greens are tricky here.
If you hit it straight, you will feel comfortable because when you are in the rough or semi rough, you have no spin to control the ball on the green.
I feel very confident with my game and I hope that I can stay confident in the next two rounds. I’ve been playing well and when you play well, you feel confident. I look forward to challenging for the title.
Panuphol Pittayarat (Tha) – Second Round 66 (-5), Total 135 (-7)
It was a good round. The course is tight but I feel that playing here is almost similar to playing in Thailand!
The tight fairways and trees in the middle of fairways, those are the type of conditions we play on some courses in Thailand. I’m comfortable playing out here.
I made an incredible par save on the 10th hole after my ball was plugged in the rough then I made a good up-and-down from 120 yards. I chipped in on 12 from the edge of the green.
I haven’t played well since last year. This week is a great tournament for me to gather confidence and move on to the other tournaments. I haven’t

holed a lot of putts. I got a new putter this week. I’ve been looking for the perfect putter. This is actually the fourth putter I’ve changed this year.
Dulal Hossain (Ban) – Second Round 63 (-8), Total 136 (-6)
The weather was good today so I’m lucky I didn’t play in the strong wind this morning. This is the first time I’m shooting eight-under on this course, which is also my home course. I hope I will have a chance to win. This is my home course so I think I will have a big chance.
My father sold tea in the canteen at Kurmitola and he asked the caddy master if I could be a ball boy and he said yes. I was only nine years old then and I didn’t play golf yet.
I was promoted to a caddy at the age of 12 and when I had time in the morning, I would learn how to swing by using a tree branch.
One day, a member at Kurmitola saw my swing and he sponsored a golf set. I was 15 at that time and that was when I really started playing golf. My family was poor so I couldn’t afford to buy a golf set.
I hit an eagle today on the 14th hole from 20 feet. I used a five wood for my second shot from 230 yards. I’m 25 years old this year and I turned professional two years ago.
