I had a superb front nine today. I thought my mental game was good. I stayed focused out there and I just play shot by shot. I felt very confident and I committed to my shots. I felt like I can do anything out there. I was a little bit excited when I started out but I played with no pressure. I had fun out there.

I thought I got a bit unlucky on the back nine, especially on 13. My tee shot landed in the rough and I didn’t have a good lie. I hit my second shot into the water from there and made a double from there. But I told myself not to get affected by it. I just focused on the remaining holes from there and was able to make two more birdies coming in.

The highlight for me today was on par-five seven where I sank a 10-foot eagle putt from the fringe of the green after hitting a three-iron for about 240 yards to the pin. I went on to make another birdie after that which was really exciting. I was thrilled. I had a good run over there. I didn’t think ahead of myself. I reminded myself to stick to my game plan. I know there are a lot of good players chasing me so I had to try and get as many birdies as I can to give myself more cushion heading into the final round.

I just want to keep playing the same tomorrow. I will stick to my own game plan. Hopefully I can play as good tomorrow. I am looking forward.

I putted really good today. It’s getting better everyday. I had two eagles from greenside today and it’s the first time I had two eagles in a round!

I holed a 10-footer putt from the fringe of the green for eagle on seven. I hit my second shot with a three-wood from 260 yards which landed over the pin. On the 14, I hit a six-iron to about 10-feet over the green. I putted in for eagle there. I took advantage of all the par-fives today. I am five-under for the par-fives. It’s very good.

I just played my own game. I was just focusing on hitting fairways and putting the ball on the greens. I wasn’t thinking much out there. I will keep it the same tomorrow. First shot on the fairways, second shot on the greens and grabbed all the birdie opportunities out there.

It’s my first time in contention on the Asian Tour. I am a little excited for tomorrow but there is still a lot of golf to go.

I enjoyed myself a lot. I didn’t make any bogeys today and my tee shots were better compared to yesterday too. I hit the ball really well. I was able to hit more greens in regulation which explained the bogey-free round. Thitiphun got off to a great start. He was just unstoppable. I was just happy for him.

It’s always good to see your playing partner playing well. It’s good to see solid golf too. It kind of motivates you as well. It’s a positive thing. I enjoyed seeing him play and I enjoyed how I played today too. I felt really comfortable out there. I was hitting the ball good and finding more fairways. I am very happy with how I played today.

I think my best birdie is on the 17 where I sank a 30-footer putt left to right and down the hill. That was really a good putt because I had a bad tee shot and second shot on that hole. It’s going to be the same for me tomorrow. I just want to go out there and enjoy myself. I don’t want to think so much. I have been in this position before so I really hope to just enjoy my game tomorrow.

Kemarol BAHARIN (MAS) – Third Round 67 (-4), Total 205 (-8)
I hit all the fairways today and I hardly miss the greens. I felt very comfortable when I hit my approach shots as well because of the short distances. I putted very well today too. I sank in four birdies and was bogey-free today. I putted in from about two and half pin away on 10. That was my longest putt and also my highlights of the day. I feel comfortable with my game right now and happy with where I stand at the moment. Hopefully I can continue to catch up tomorrow. I have no expectations for this week. Actually I came here to play because I wanted to prepare for next week’s Maybank Championship Malaysia on home soil. I thought I just come here and play and have fun.
