Bhullar in tied-fifth at Russian Open

July 26: India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar fired a second round one-under-par 71 to take a share of fifth place with three other players at the M2M Russian Open on Friday.
The talented Indian, who traded two birdies against one bogey, compiled a two-day total of six-under-par 138 to trail leader David Horsey of England by five shots at the Tseleevo Golf and Polo Club.
Carlos Pigem of Spain and Thailand’s Gunn Charoenkul took a share of 20th place after signing for rounds of 71 and 68 respectively while Rikard Karlberg of Sweden slipped to tied-30th after recording a disappointing 76.
Korea’s Baek Seuk-hyun and S.S.P. Chowrasia of India, who is chasing for a third European Tour title, also made the cut after posting identical 70s.
Thailand’s Chinnarat Phadungsil, Arnond Vongvanij, Jazz Janewattananond and Poom Saksansin, Berry Henson of the United States and Masahiro Kawamura of Japan failed to make the cut.
