Blyth Closes in on Bhullar

Jakarta, July 26: Australian Adam Blyth birdied his closing hole to sign off his third round in five-under-par 67 and narrow the gap to one stroke on leader Gaganjeet Bhullar of India after the completion of the third round of the Indonesia President Invitational this morning.

Bhullar holds the tournament lead on 17-under-par 199 after a stunning 62 on Saturday evening. Blyth had to return to the Damai Indah Golf - Bumi Serpong Damai course this morning to complete his remaining six holes where he shot two birdies and a bogey.

Korea's Ted Oh completed his third round this morning in 66 to lie in third position, two strokes behind the leader. The top three leaders are chasing their maiden title on the Asian Tour.

Blyth said: "I had an 18 footer down the hill and I wanted to make the putt as we were not sure it we would finish today. It just lipped out for eagle. You get a little tired but you just have to get going as there are just 18 holes to go. It's a long way to go and there are a lot of players up there and someone could shoot 10 under again. I'm just going to give it my best, finish the 18 holes and that would be my best."
