June 28: Korea's K.J. Choi shot a one-over-par 71 to slip out of contention at the Quicken Loans National at the halfway stage of the event on Friday.
The Asian Tour honorary member dropped two bogeys against a lone birdie to settle for a share of 21st position with his 141 total, five back of the leaders, after starting the round in the top-10 of the PGA Tour event. Countryman Noh Seung-yul, the Asian Tour Order of Merit winner in 2010, shot a 70 to move up to equal 40th position.
At the BMW International Open in Munich, India's Gaganjeet Bhullar slipped back to a share of 29th place after adding a 70 to his opening 67. Three-time Asian Tour number one Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand shot a 66 to join Bhullar on 137, five shot off the lead.
India's Jeev Milkha Singh and Anirban Lahiri missed the halfway cut by one after carding rounds of 70 and 73 respectively in their second rounds.
