Choi finishes second in US

February 2: Asian Tour honorary member K.J. Choi of Korea finished second at the Farmers Insurance Open after shooting a four-over-par 76 in testing conditions on Monday.
Choi totalled five-under-par 283 to finish one-shot back from the champion Brandt Snedeker in the event which was extended to Monday due to strong wind.
It was Choi’s best result after a disappointing season last year where he failed to record a top-10 finish. He needed to birdie the last hole to force a play-off but only managed a par to settle for second.
“I want to play (in the Olympics), but I need to have wins,” Choi said. “That’s why I’m training the last two months, three months very hard.”
Ends.
