June 22: Asian Tour honorary member K.J. Choi of Korea kept himself in the hunt for another victory on the PGA Tour when he carded a one-under-par 69 to take a share of third place after the third round of the Travelers Championship on Saturday.
The Korean trails American leader Ryan Moore by two shots as he heads into his final round with his three-day total of 11-under-par 199.
"So far, so good. My game is in good shape and it has been improving especially on this course. I've never finished inside the top-10 on this course before so I'm very happy with my position now.
I'll approach the final round with a fresh mind, keep going and play well," said Choi, who holds six Asian Tour victories and is chasing his ninth win on the PGA Tour.
Over in Ireland at the Irish Open, India's Jeev Milhka Singh put up a better performance by signing for a 69 to move up the leaderboard for a share  34th place.
The Irish Open where Finland's Mikko Ilonen continues to hold the lead will reward the top three players with a spot at next month’s Open Championship which is the year’s third Major.
Ends.
