Chowrasia tied for third in Prague

Czech Republic, August 22: India’s S.S.P. Chowrasia got off to a flying start when he fired an opening four-under-par 68 to share third place with nine other players at the D+D REAL Czech Masters on Thursday.
The two-time Asian Tour winner nailed seven birdies against three bogeys to trail leader Jamie Donaldson of Wales by two shots at the Albatross Golf Resort.
Korean-American David Lipsky carded a 69 for tied-13th place while Rikard Karlberg of Sweden stayed a further shot back in tied-22nd.
India’s Shiv Kapur returned with a 71 while compatriots Gaganjeet Bhullar and Jeev Milkha Singh posted matching 72s for tied-62nd place.
American Berry Henson will have to make up ground after signing for a disappointing 80.
Over in the United States, Asian Tour honorary members Ernie Els of South Africa, K.J. Choi of Korea and 2010 Asian Tour Order of Merit winner Noh Seung-yul registered matching three-under-par 68s for tied-13th place at The Barclays where American Bo Van Pelt leads on 65.
