July 2: Welshman and Ryder Cup member, Jamie Donaldson has confirmed he will compete at the 81st Omega European Masters.
The 39-year-old will play in his 15th season as a professional and has already several honours to his name, including winning the 2013 Abu Dhabi Championship.
The Welsh golfer will be remembered as the man who won the final point for a European victory at the last Ryder Cup.
Donaldson will walk the fairways of the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club for the 11th time. This is a course that suits him well since he has finished inside the top-10 in his last three appearances (seventh in 2014, ninth in 2012 and third in 2011).
He speaks glowingly about the Omega European Masters, “Crans is a stunning venue, great tournament and the course is always challenging. I really look forward to playing in the Swiss Alps in this brilliant event”.
Donaldson will tee off alongside his Ryder Cup teammates Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Victor Dubuisson as well as Patrick Reed and Danny Willett.
Ends.
