Crans Montana, Switzerland, April 18: France's Victor Dubuisson is the latest star player to headline the Omega European Masters following the confirmation of Spaniard Sergio Garcia and Englishman Lee Westwood for the Swiss showpiece which will tee off from July 23-26.
Staged at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, the Omega European Masters is the only event on European soil to be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour since 2009.
It is also rated as one of the most eagerly anticipated events annually on the Asian Tour schedule.
Dubuisson's best result at the Omega European Masters came in 2013 where he finished third.
Winner of the Turkish Airlines Open in November 2013, Dubuisson followed up with some excellent performances to finish the 2014 season in fifth spot on the European Tour’s money list, which included a second place finish at the World Tour Championship in Dubai.
The young Frenchman also enjoyed a good start in 2015, when he secured fourth place in the HSBC Golf Championship in Abu Dhabi in January. Dubuisson will play most of his 2015 season on the PGA Tour, where he has already shown strong performances.
Ends.
