Extended TV coverage for Venetian Macau Open

Macau, October 17: The Venetian Macau Open will enjoy extended television coverage to new territories around the world this week.
The Skynet Golf Channel in Myanmar will for the first time broadcast the full live coverage of the US$800,000 Asian Tour event at the Macau Golf and Country Club while Fox Australia will also provide full live coverage starting from today till Sunday.
In addition, Fuji TV network in Japan will also broadcast the final round live on Sunday and as per last year, air the event highlights upon the completion of the tournament, which is celebrating its 15th edition.
In China, Travel China will broadcast the event highlights for the first time which will mean that the Venetian Macau Open will be seen in an additional 150 million homes.
LETV will also be taking the world feed coverage for the first time, meaning the broadcast will have additional access in China through its huge portal of viewers.  Golf Channel China will also take two hours of live broadcast per day.
In the Philippines, Balls Channel will also take the full live coverage of the Venetian Macau Open, which starts from 1pm to 5pm (HK/Macau local time) on Thursday and Friday and 12pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The additional exposure is in addition to the coverage which is already available to over 180 countries and 640 million homes via the Asian Tour’s global television platform.
Four-time Major champion Ernie Els of South Africa is headlining the Venetian Macau Open which includes title holder Gaganjeet Bhullar of India, six Order of Merit champions and no fewer than 40 Asian Tour winners.
