Global television audience for WHSM

Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, September 19: The Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters will enjoy amplified coverage as the weekend rounds will be beamed live to a global audience.
The RM1.3 million (approximately US$410,000) Asian Tour event will be broadcast live to approximately 180 countries and 625 million homes which includes Malaysia (Golf Channel), Myanmar, Mongolia and France.
In a first for the event, a delayed telecast will also be shown on the Golf Channel in the United States and Canada over the weekend.
The current television distribution for the event is at 398 hours over two days, which surpassed the 352 hours distribution from last year.
The Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters has attracted a host of stars from the Asian Tour including David Lipsky of the United States, Anirban Lahiri of India and Thaworn Wiratchant of Thailand.
