Gunn blog: Target locked!

It was a good round. I had a reasonable front nine but tried to play more conservatively on the back and it worked!
There were no highlights in my round. I made up-and-downs when I needed to and didn’t make many mistakes. That really helped my game. It is hard to get a good score when the greens are bumpy. You need to be patient and not be too aggressive.
You really need to put yourself in the game and focus to stay in the hunt on this golf course.
I had a (left) wrist injury for about a month so I’m happy with my result. I inflamed my wrist after the Queen’s Cup. I think I overworked myself and forgot to stretch before hitting shots.
I haven’t been playing too well on the Asian Tour so my sponsors flew in Shane Gillespie (same coach as Siddikur Rahman) to Thailand. We worked together and my game seems to be getting better.
I won four events this year and this was during my injury! It was weird because I played better when I was injured. Maybe I should injure myself more (laughs).
Ends.
