Jakarta, April 24: Indonesia’s George Gandranata had the opportunity to come up close and personal with two of his ardent fans at the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters presented by Enjoy Jakarta Golf on Friday.
Gentha Sally Amita and Simon Reynolds, lucky winners from the Asian Tour Facebook contest, enjoyed their day off by catching Gandranata in action during the second round of the US$750,000 Asian Tour event.
An exclusive lunch for them was later hosted by Gandranata at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.
“I’m so delighted to be able to spend the day with George. He has always been one of my favourite players as I admire him for his work ethics, humility and commitment to his game,” said Amita.
Gandranata said,” It’s good to know there’s such an initiative from the Asian Tour as it gives us the opportunity to be with our fans and get to know them better.”
Ends.
