Scotland, July 10: Australian Scott Hend fired a third round two-under-par 70 to grab a share of 23rd place at the Aberdeen Assets Scottish Open on Saturday.
Hend, who claimed his ninth Asian Tour title in Thailand last month, traded four birdies against two bogeys for a three-day total of four-under-par 212 to trail leader Alex Noren of Sweden by eight shots at the Castle Stuart Golf Links.
Thailand’s Prom Meesawat signed for a second consecutive 70 to stay a further two shots back in tied-40th position while Korea’s Y.E. Yang, first Asian to win a Major, slipped to tied-51st place following a 74.
