Hua Hin, Thailand, January 14: Berry Henson of the United States is relishing the opportunity to shine at the Black Mountain Golf Club, his home course in Asia.
Without a win since his breakthrough victory in Philippine in 2011, Henson hopes to end the 2013 season on a high note at the US$1 million King’s Cup Golf Hua Hin.

I’m playing on my home track in Thailand. Black Mountain is going to be a good test. The greens are going to be quicker compared to what we usually play out here.
We usually shoot low numbers when we practice here but it looks like it is going to be tough out there this week.
I was in the United States with my family for two weeks to celebrate Christmas so that was nice. I haven’t played since December so I’m fired up and recharged. The course is amazing and in great shape as always.
The wind will be the factor. If it stays calm, then we are going to see low scores if not, then I think a lot of players will struggle out here. I’ve been happy with my season so far. I want to get a win before the season is over. I’m really looking forward to closing out with a bang.
It is great that my base in up here at Black Mountain. This is where I practice when I’m in Asia and I live here as well. I love it in Hua Hin and I look forward to a great week.
Ends.
