Read what leading contenders have to say ahead of their challenge at this week's CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters presented by Enjoy Jakarta Golf.

I love coming back to Asia. I have been fairly successful here and hopefully I can play well again this week. I don’t really know the reason why I do so well here. It’s a mystery to me but I’ve always felt comfortable here as the golf courses are very good and I’ve certainly improved over the years.
I don’t mind the hot conditions very much and I cope with them pretty well. Obviously, I had great success here in 2011 and 2012 and I hope to make it a hat-trick this week. I remember winning on the Sunday which was also my birthday and went back to world number one. It was triple joy and definitely a great feeling.
The conditions will be my toughest opponent. The fact that we will play under such hot and humid conditions on a challenging golf course. We’re playing against a high quality field and you know that anybody on his day can contend for this championship. So you have to really concentrate on your own game, your level of fitness and try to play as good as you can.

It has been on the cards a couple of times to come here and I managed to do so eventually this year. It fit into my schedule and I’m happy to be here. I’m looking forward to the week. It has been one of those things that has been slipping away from me over the years.bjorn
Hopefully I can get the game right and get up there on Sunday and challenge for the title. I’ve come so close on a couple of occasions and eventually I’m sure I’ll get over the line.
Dealing with the weather is part and parcel of what we do. But when you get into such extreme conditions and especially when you come from the northern part of Europe, this can seem extremely difficult. You have to drink and sleep a lot and I think you hear that in all sports that when you’re competing, that’s what you need to do.
But when you get into conditions like this, it’s important to keep the energy levels up and not to spend too much time on the golf course and stay inside, going out only when necessary. It’s extreme but it’s not impossible. As long as your energy levels are there with food and drinks, you’ll push through.

Frankly my form has been very erratic since I won the PGA Championship. But it’s getting better this year. I played well last week. The confidence’s returning and that’s always important in golf. I expect to put myself into contention again this week and we’ll see what happens. I’ve played in many different golf courses under different conditions, so the weather conditions don’t really affect me

I’m pretty excited to play this week. It’s actually an honour to play against some of the best players in the world, especially with these guys right here. I grew up watching these guys on TV and to be able to sit here with them is just special. It’s a new feeling as a lot of people know more about the tournament and the exposure is really great. I look forward to playing well this week and also learn a lot from these guys so that I can see where my standard lies.
The target is obviously to make the cut first and put myself into a good position After two rounds, I’ll see where I’m at and strategise from there. Last season was my best season, both locally and internationally. I came really close to getting my Asian Tour card and all these really motivated me to work even harder to reach my goals this year which is to get my Asian Tour card.
I hope to put the Indonesian flag up there in the international stage. Your toughest opponent is basically yourself as you try to keep your emotions in check even when your game is up and down. It’s not playing against other players but playing against the golf course and the weather. It all depends on those variables this week.
