POOM SAKSANSIN (THA) – THIRD ROUND 65 (-7), TOTAL 203 (-13)

I can putt today and that’s the secret. This is a long course for me but this year, the greens are softer so I can stop the ball on the green. Last two days I couldn’t putt but today I did much better.

I just wanted to shoot under-par and not make any trouble. On the first hole I got into trouble but I saved par from 15 feet. I felt lucky after that and told myself no more trouble. I only tried to make par but if I had a birdie chance, I would go for it.

After I was five-under, I felt like it would be my day so I started playing more aggressively. This is my second time in the last group on the Asian Tour. I will try not to be nervous on the final day. I just want to give myself a chance.

If you told me on Thursday that I will be leading on Sunday, I would tell you that you are lying (laughs)! Last year, I was under a lot of pressure on the last day (Queen’s Cup) so I’ll tomorrow I will talk to my caddy who is my uncle. He will make me feel comfortable. He doesn’t caddy for me regularly, only in the big events because I can’t make profit if he caddy for me in the smaller events!

MASAHIRO KAWAMURA (JPN) – THIRD ROUND 68 (-4), Total 205 (-11)

My tee shots were very good today. My putting wasn’t as consistent but I chipped well. The last three holes were very tough because of the rain. I made only two bogeys today so I am very happy with it.

It was really tough out there. I am happy with where I stand right now. I am definitely aiming for a win tomorrow. I look forward to playing in the final group again. I will keep things the same tomorrow. Nothing changes. I like playing on this course. I enjoy playing on difficult courses.

KALEM RICHARDSON (AUS) – THIRD ROUND 69 (-3), TOTAL 205 (-11)

I played really good on the front nine and I had to hang in there on the back nine. It was really tough on the back so I’m happy with the result.

I set my driver on the perfect spot and was lucky enough my chip went in. I didn’t actually see my shot go in but guess that it went in by the reaction of the crowd.

(On stepping away from the game) Golf is the hardest game in the world really. It is a tough lifestyle but it is great to be playing golf for a living. I tried to remember that and I’m glad to be here playing golf. I feel like I’m playing good now.

It will be massive if I do win. It will be a big day tomorrow. I’ll just focus on each shot and not get carried away.

THONGCHAI JAIDEE (THA) – THIRD ROUND 69 (-3), TOTAL 206 (-10)

I didn’t putt any good today. I played really well on the last two holes. I hit two good irons there. I know the conditions are tough but finishing well on the last few holes is key here. I hit a good tee shot and second shot (five wood). I hit it to about 10 feet and sank the putt.

I’m three shots behind so I have a chance tomorrow. I’ll just play my best tomorrow and hit a lot of fairways. I love playing on this golf course so that’s an advantage for me. I think I’ll enjoy the final round.

MARCUS FRASER (AUS) – THIRD ROUND 70 (-2), TOTAL 206 (-10)

I started off pretty well. I felt like I could cap a good round after the first four holes but I was pretty average after that to be honest. I kind of lost my momentum and confidence a bit but I managed to hang in there and made a few birdies coming back which is nice especially in this kind of conditions.

I was in Europe for three weeks before going home to see my coach. I felt like everything was working quite nicely the past few days but I felt like I lost it today. You get a bit lost when you start searching for it out there. That was tough especially in this kind of conditions. Everything is just so wet out there.

I am pretty happy with the way I played my back nine, considering that I haven’t been putting it that great earlier. I am happy with how I played today to stay in the tournament.

I didn’t think I could shank the drive on 14 but I think I did. I had a perfect second shot that got up to four to five feet which was great. I was just trying to get it on the green. It was a good time to make a birdie out there.

Hopefully the conditions will be better tomorrow. I hope to make some putts out there too. I am not too far off right now although it looks like a long way off. Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow.
