October 5: Find out who the contenders are at the US$750,000 BNI Indonesian Masters presented by Zurich.

Thongchai Jaidee (Tha)

Thongchai is the highest ranked player in the field. He has one win in Europe this year and finished in tied ninth place in Korea last week. He has three top-five results at the Indonesian Masters and will be hoping to better his results in the Indonesian showpiece this week.

Anirban Lahiri (Ind)

Anirban won the Indonesian Masters in 2014 with a clutch eagle putt on the 72nd hole to win his first Asian Tour title outside of India. The memories will spur him on when he challenges for the title against the elite field.

Marcus Fraser (Aus)

Since winning in Malaysia in February and finishing second in April, Fraser has not enjoyed the best of results. His dip in form opened the door for Scott Hend to overtake him on the Order of Merit. But after taking a two-week break, the Australian hopes to shine at the BNI Indonesian Masters presented by Zurich and return to the summit of the Merit ranking.

OOM: 2nd.

Chan Shih-chang (Tpe)

Chan followed up his

victory in Japan two weeks ago by finishing tied 12th on home soil last week. He is currently fourth on the Order of Merit but is trailed closely by Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines.

OOM: 4th

Miguel Tabuena (Phi)

Tabuena finished second in Chinese Taipei last week, losing to Lu Wei-chih by a single shot. His runner-up result was his second in 2016. He continues to chase for a second Asian Tour title and is feeling confident of his chances this week.

OOM: 5th

Gaganjeet Bhullar (Ind)

Bhullar won his sixth Asian Tour title in Korea last week. A return to Indonesia will bring back fond memories for the Indian where he previously won at the 2009 Indonesia President Invitational and 2013 Indonesia Open.
