Manila, November 20: American Anthony Kang talks about his return to the inaugural Resorts World Manila Masters this week and playing at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club where he emerged victorious 15 years ago.

I am actually surprised to get a good round today.
Coming from last week where I didn't finish off well, I thought I would just give myself one or two birdies a day.
I’m surprised that I had a lot of birdie opportunities, maybe about nine or ten? That was how it went for me out there.
I had a solid round except for the ninth where I hit a double. Otherwise, it was all good. I just stayed out of trouble out there.
I hit a lot of short putts for birdies which made it less stressful for me.
I am just working on trying to hit the ball straight and trying to find the fairways.
I want to give myself less stress as well.
I’ve been hitting it sideways, left and right and it’s really no fun playing golf that way.
But today, it was more pleasurable to play. I’m sure all the top guys out here will think there’s no stress hitting it onto the fairways.
Hopefully I can continue to play well in the next few rounds.
