Kapur slips to tied-22nd in Qatar

Doha, Qatar, January 24: India’s Shiv Kapur slips to tied-22nd after signing for an even-par 72 at the penultimate round of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters on Friday.
Kapur, who fired three birdies against three bogeys, trails the leading quartet Marc Warren, Branden Grace, Emiliano Grillo and Bernd Wiesberger, by seven shots on six-under-par 210 total at the Doha Golf Club.
Asian Tour honorary member Ernie Els of South Africa moves up to tied-15th following a 70 while Thai veteran Thongchai Jaidee fired a 69 to stay eight shots off the pace in tied-32nd place.
India’s Jeev Milkha Singh signed for a 73 to slip to tied-45th while 2013 Order of Merit winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat shot a disappointing 75 to take a share of 53rd place.
