Khan blog: Feeling positive

September 4: It was a mixed week for Rashid Khan of India at the Omega European Masters. He bounced back from a disappointing opening round but struggled again on the last day to finish tied 41st. Despite the result, the lanky Indian is feeling positive about his game.

I played well but putted badly. I started well but three putted on the ninth hole. That was the turning point. From there, I couldn’t find my game after that.
I’m disappointed with the result. It started from the ninth hole. I had a 25-feet eagle putt but ended up three putting. I didn’t hole any putts after that. I bogeyed hole 12 and finished with three bogeys. Not a good finish.
The way I fought back to make the cut was good but the result should be better. Looking back, the first and final round, I should have performed better. On the first day I finished with a bogey and two double bogeys.
After that I battled hard and made the cut. I performed well in the third round and early in the final round, I was also enjoying a good run until the ninth hole
There are a lot of positive things to take out of this week. I made the cut after a long time and I know what I need to improve on. I need to take a little bit more time before I hit a shot. I do it too quickly now.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the Asian Tour season. I have some weeks off to work on my game before we play in the remainder of the season.
Wish me luck.
