Kim tops class in Japan

December 11: Korean-American Chan Kim topped the class at the Japan Golf Tour Qualifying School by graduating with a six-under-par 66 to earn his playing rights in Japan on Thursday.
The 24-year-old replicated his similar success on the Asian Tour where he also emerged top of the class at the Asian Tour Qualifying School last year.
Kim, who had two top-10 finishes on the Asian Tour this season, survived the grueling six-round test where only the top 35 players will secure their Japan Golf Tour card  for the 2015 season.
Asian Tour honorary member Y.E. Yang of Korea also made it through with flying colours as he finished fourth while compatriot Baek Seuk-hyun and Philippines Angelo Que joined the graduating class by taking  15th and 31st place respectively.
Ends.
