Augusta, April 8: Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat continued to show his battling spirit at the Masters Tournament by signing for a third round even-par 72 to take a share of 43rd place on Saturday.

The 2013 Asian Tour Order of Merit championship made it into the weekend rounds right at the cutline after sinking a crucial birdie at the last hole.

Kiradech resumed his third round promisingly with a birdie on three but suffered a double-bogey five at the next hole.

He then marked his card with another birdie on seven before a bogey on 10 followed by another birdie on 13 saw him sign for a three-day total of five-over-par 221 at the Augusta National Golf Club

Kiradech will tee off alongside American Xander Schauffele in the final round of the year’s first Major while Asian Tour honorary member Vijay Singh of Fiji will start in 53rd place after rounds of 71, 74 and 79.

Ends.
