Manila, November 19: Asian Tour number one Kiradech Aphibarnrat will make his debut at the Resorts World Manila Masters presented by 918.com this week. The big-hitting Thai is relishing his time at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club and talks about the week ahead in his latest blog.

It’s my pleasure to come to play in the Resorts World Manila Masters. The course is in good shape, small greens and nice fairways. It’s in fantastic condition right now. I’m been playing well over the last couple of months except that I have not won titles.
I’m striking the ball well and hitting the ball on target. Last week, I didn’t start too good for the first five holes (at the Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT) and shot a 69 which wasn’t good enough. I hope my putting is good this week. Last year, I didn't come over here so I’m hoping that I can win the title and I wan to tell Liang (Wen-chong) that it won’t be easy to defend his title as we’ve got a strong field this week.
It’s my first time visiting the Philippines and I'm really happy to be here.
I think the Manila Southwoods course suits my game. I’m happy there’s not too much rough so that I can whack it.
I just try to hit as long as I can play. I played 12 holes just now and can reach the par fives in two. So it’s going to be a big week to make a score.
