Kiradech enjoys tied fourth finish

January 23: Thai star Kiradech Aphibarnrat finished tied fourth at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on Sunday to get his 2017 season off on a strong note.
The former Asian Tour number one was tied for the lead in the European Tour tournament with four holes remaining before watching Englishman Tommy Fleetwood secure a popular one-stroke victory with his winning total of 17-under-par 271. American star Dustin Johnson finished second along with Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal.
Kiradech closed with a 69 and a 273 total to finish two shots behind the winner. He carded earlier rounds of 66, 68 and 70 to put himself in contention for the title.
Jeugnhun Wang of Korea finished 11th in the event with rounds of 68, 67, 70 and 71.
