Kiradech finishes tied-fifth at British Masters

October 5: Thai star Kiradech Aphibarnrat closed with a one-over-par 72 to settle for a share of fifth place at the British Masters supported by Sky Sports in England on Sunday.
The 25-year-old Thai, who held a share of the overnight lead, marked his card with four birdies against three bogeys and a double-bogey to finish four shots back of winner Matthew Fitzpatrick of England on 11-under-par 273 total at the Woburn Golf Club.
Korea’s Y.E. Yang, Rikard Karlberg of Sweden and Australian Wade Ormsby were amongst those bunched in tied-38th place on 281 following rounds of 72, 73 and 73 respectively while Australian Scott Hend and Jeev Milkha Singh of India finished a further two shots back in tied-54th.
Kiradech, 2013 Asian Tour Order of Merit, broke into the world's top-50 following his tied-fifth result at the British Masters which propelled him to 49th place on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR).
