July 14: Current Asian Tour Order of Merit leader Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand stormed up to tied-23rd on the leaderboard as he posted a four-under-par 68 after the third round of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish open on Saturday.
The 23-years-old, who is playing in Scotland for the very first time this week, is seven shots back of leader Henrik Stenson of Sweden who compiled a three-round total of 16-under-par 200 at the Castle Stuart Golf Links.
Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee, on the other hand, tumbled down the leaderboard as he signed for a third round 73 to slip down to tied-55th.
The three-time Order of Merit winner did not have his chances of getting birdies on the back nine as he made pars throughout the last eight holes after a bogey on the 10th.
Meanwhile at the John Deere Classic in the United States, Korea’s Y.E. Yang and K.J Choi both slipped to tied-38th after posting a third round 69 and 68 respectively.
