Kiradech stays close in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, January 22: Thai star Kiradech Aphibarnrat took pride in his battling performance as he posted a third round two-under-par 70 to trail by one shot at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on Saturday.
The 27-year-old Thai, who topped the Asian Tour Order of Merit in 2013, traded five birdies against three bogey to grab a share of second place on 12-under-par 204 total at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
Korean talent Jeunghun Wang signed for a 70 to stay two shots off the pace in tied-seventh position while American David Lipsky posted a second consecutive 72 to sit in tied-42nd position on 212.
India’s S.S.P. Chawrasia slipped to 73rd place following a disappointing 77.
