November 16: Asian Tour Order of Merit leader Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand shot a second round two-under-par 70 to stay five shots back of leader Henrik Stenson of Sweden at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai on Friday.
Kiradech, who opened his campaign with a 67, mixed his card with four birdies, four bogeys and one eagle to tie in fifth place with Sweden’s Jonas Blixt, England’s Ian Poulter and Justin Rose on matching seven-under-par 137s in the US$8,000,000 event.
Compatriot Thongchai Jaidee also returned with a second round 70 to take a share of 14th place with six other players, including England’s Luke Donald at the Jumeirah Golf Estates.
