Lipsky breaks into world’s top-200

September 12: Current Order of Merit leader David Lipsky jumped into the top-200 on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) following his amazing win at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland on Sunday.
The Korean-American won his second Asian Tour tournament at the event which was sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour to move up 215 rungs to 154th in the world after notching 30 world ranking points.
Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee remained inside the top-50 where he is currently ranked 41st while Asian Tour honorary member K.J. Choi of Korea sits in 77th position.
The 2010 Asian Tour Order of Merit winner Noh Seung-yul of Korea, who won his first PGA Tour title in April, and Anirban Lahiri of India, ranked second on the Merit list, are placed 91st and 98th respectively.
Among other Asian Tour members ranked inside the world’s top-200 include reigning Order of Merit winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand (136th), Shiv Kapur of India (183), Siddikur Rahman of Bangladesh (185th), Scott Hend of Australia (186th) and Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand (188th).
