August 29: Former Asian Tour number one David Lipsky enjoyed a third place finish at the Made in Denmark tournament on Sunday, closing with a fine four-under-par 67.
The American had earlier shot rounds of 65, 70 and 67 to end the week with a 15-under-par 269 aggregate, finishing two shots behind winner Thomas Pieters of Belgium. It was his second straight top-10 finish following his sixth place outing in the Czech Masters last week.
Korea's Y.E. Yang, Asia's first Major champion, claimed a tied 18th finish following rounds of 72, 68, 69 and 69 for a 278 total.
Lipsky's good form comes at a perfect time as he will head to the Omega European Masters in Crans Montana, Switzerland this week where he won the prestigious tournament two years ago en route to lifting the Asian Tour Order of Merit crown.
The Omega European Masters is the only tournament in Europe to be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour.
