Lipsky & Karlberg 3 shots back in Italy

September 20: Reigning Order of Merit winner David Lipsky of the United States and Rikard Karlberg of Sweden fired four-under-par 68s to charge into contention at the Open D’Italia presented by Damiani on Saturday.
The duo traded six birdies against two bogeys to trail Martin Kaymer of Germany, Romain Wattel of France and Jens Fahbring of Sweden by three shots at the Golf Club Milano.
Jeev Milkha Singh of India, a two-time Asian Tour number one, was a further three shots back in tied 16th place following a 68 while Y.E. Yang and S.S.P. Chawrasia were in tied 41st and 50th positions respectively.
In Japan, overnight leader Prayad slipped to sixth place after struggling to a 75 at the Ana Open.
