Lipsky moves into contention in Munich

Munich, Germany, June 25: Asian Tour Order of Merit leader David Lipsky fired a bogey-free five-under-par 67 to move into contention following the penultimate round of the BMW International Open on Saturday.
The 28-year-old American, who was crowned Asia’s number one in 2014, highlighted his flawless card with five birdies to trail leading duo Sergio Garcia and Richard Bland by four shots in tied-sixth place on nine-under-par 207 total at the Golfclub München Eichenried.
Two-time Asian Tour winner Rikard Karlberg of Sweden battled to a 72 to sit a further shot back in tied-10th position while Thai star Kiradech Aphibarnrat bounced back with a 68 to take a share of 16th place on 209.
Over at the Travelors Championship in the United States, Indian star Anirban Lahiri slipped to tied-28th position following a one-over-par 71 at the TPC River Highlands. He trails leader Jordan Spieth by nine shots heading into the final round.
